Adopt-a-Beachâ"¢ Spring Kickoff Starts April 20

 

What:  Help us gear up for the coming beach season by getting the word out about our annual Adopt-a-Beachâ"¢ Spring Kickoff.

 

When: April 20-May 4.

 

Who: New and returning volunteers in the Alliance for the Great LakesâEUR(tm) Adopt-a-Beachâ"¢ program, now numbering 10,000-plus participants in six Great Lakes states.

Why: Participants enhance beaches by picking up trash, and record their findings in our online regional database. Volunteers also conduct water quality sampling and make science-based observations âEUR" all information that aids our effort to improve beach health.
