The transcript for the public scoping meeting for the Great Lakes and
Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS) for Cleveland, held on January
13, is now available on the GLMRIS Web site on the Completed NEPA Public
Scoping Meetings and Transcripts Page:
http://glmris.anl.gov/involve/pubschedule/index.cfm

Scoping transcripts from the other 9 public meeting sites will be posted as
they become available. Chicago and Buffalo transcripts have already been
posted.

The purpose of GLMRIS is to evaluate a range of options and technologies to
prevent the transfer of aquatic nuisance species, such as Asian carp, between
the Great Lakes and Mississippi River basins through aquatic pathways.
Comments received throughout the scoping period that help the GLMRIS Team
identify which issues people consider significant or not significant were
important contributions to the scoping process.

Opportunities for public involvement, new documents and other important news
and events will be posted on the GLMRIS Web site on the new Stay Involved
page at http://glmris.anl.gov/involve/index.cfm and also sent to the GLMRIS
e-mail subscription list. Please, join the conversation and discuss GLMRIS
topics with the Corps and other stakeholders at Facebook.com/glmris and
Twitter @GLMRIS.
