GLIN==> SOLEC 2011 Success Story Nominations are being accepted until August 5!

Dear Great Lakes colleagues!

 

Do you know of a project that deserves recognition for improving the
environment in the Great Lakes basin? 

 

Since 1996, the State of the Lakes Ecosystem Conference Steering
Committee has honoured various organizations and agencies with a SOLEC
Success Story Award. 

 

*         Nominations are ranked using criteria that include strong
partnerships, links between economy, environment and community, and
broad stakeholder involvement.

*         Nominees can be chosen from the following categories:
academia, industry and business, non-profit or non-governmental
organizations, First Nations/Tribes, government or resident of the Great
Lakes community.  

*         Recipients of this award will receive recognition from the
Canadian and American Consul Generals.

SOLEC Success Story Award Nominations can be sent to SOLEC at ec.gc.ca and
