The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) seeks to hire a dynamic, energetic, and effective water policy and outreach staff person to assist with the OEC's Agricultural & Clean Water programs.  The staff person will establish, build, and manage credible and well-respected statewide policy initiatives for the OEC related to water, environmental health, and sustainable agriculture policy. Through community organizing, the staff person also will work to increase understanding among OEC members, the general public, and relevant groups and organizations about the critical need for progressive environmental policy measures, to raise visibility about the need for progressive legislation and effective regulation among key local, state, and national policy makers. The staff person also will assist with OEC efforts at the legislature and as well as with Ohio's executive agencies.
