Thursday's session will address "Science in Service of Management" and focus on development and implementation of bird monitoring programs that evaluate management and conservation work at site- or regional-level scales. If you're looking to help shape WBCI's bird monitoring efforts or start a monitoring program on your property, you won't want to miss this. Friday will consist of an "Ornithological Symposia" highlighting recent news and research on birds in and around Wisconsin. This day is designed to be of interest to birders and professionals alike! Saturday's theme is "Becoming a Better Birder and Citizen Scientist" and will include hands-on eBird workshops, bird identification talks, and volunteer training for WBCI monitoring programs, as well as an optional afternoon birding field trip on Lake Michigan.
