Registration is now open for the SyracuseCoE Symposium, Unleashing the Clean Economy: Regional Innovations for Sustainable Communities On September 22nd and 23rd, SyracuseCoE will host its 11th Annual Symposium on Environmental and Energy Systems at the Oncenter in Syracuse, NY. It will feature the latest results from collaborators across New York State and the Northeast that are developing innovations in clean technologies and processes, including energy-efficient building systems that improve indoor environmental quality, clean and renewable energy, and water resources. Confirmed speakers include: -John Cronin, the Director and CEO of The Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries, -Amy Liu, Senior Fellow, Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program, The Brookings Institution, -Eric Keune, AIA, of Chicago, who will speak to the vision for a sustainable Great Lakes region, -Federal officials actively engaged with the development of sustainable communities and economic development partnerships, -And others **Abstracts are still being accepted for the Student Poster Competition. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top graduate and undergraduate research posters. Research should be within the focus areas of the SyracuseCoE including indoor environmental quality, water resources, clean and renewable energy, and advanced building innovations.
