Sno Fun on the River

 

DULUTH, Minn. -- The St. Louis River Alliance is holding a candlelight ski
and snowshoe on the St. Louis River, Friday, February 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.,
based at the Spirit Lake Marina (121 Spring St.) in Riverside. 

 

Fortify yourself with hot beverages and food before skiing or snowshoeing
out to Clough Island. The event is free to Alliance members, $10 for others.

This occasion is sponsored by the Willard Munger Inn, Cragin Machine Shop
and the Spirit Lake Marina.

 

The St. Louis River Alliance is a local nonprofit organization of citizens
and groups working together to restore, protect and enhance the St. Louis
River. The St. Louis River is the headwaters to Lake Superior and the Great
Lakes, which hold 20 percent of the world's fresh water and form the largest
freshwater ecosystem on Earth.
