Minnesota Sea Grant invites you to follow program news and events, and
enjoy photographs of Lake Superior, Minnesota waters, aquatic research,
and more through Facebook. Click here

search for Minnesota Sea Grant on Facebook.

"Social networking has become an important conduit for information in
our society," said Sharon Moen, Minnesota Sea Grant's interim
communications coordinator. "We've watched our Twitter following grow
steadily for almost two years. We're excited to start a conversation
about coastal communities, aquatic ecosystems, and other Sea Grant focus
areas on Facebook. I'm particularly looking forward to reading people's
comments on our posts."

Minnesota Sea Grant facilitates interaction among the public and
scientists to enhance the environment and communities along Lake
Superior and Minnesota's inland waters by identifying information needs,
fostering research, and communicating results. Minnesota Sea Grant is
funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and
the University of Minnesota. It is part of NOAA Sea Grant, a nationwide
network of 32 similar science-based programs.
