One dollar from every admission sale will benefit the research, education,
and outreach efforts of OSU's Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Laboratory, the
nation's oldest freshwater biological field station and OSU's island campus
on Lake Erie.

Talks are scheduled with Sea Grant speakers, including Stanford, who will
give a behind-the-scenes look at her television debut alongside her squirmy
friends. Other speakers include: 

 

o   1 p.m., Dave Kelch, OSU Extension Agent, Lorain County, Unwanted Human
Medications: Impacts to Lake Erie's Fishery

o   2 p.m., Jeff Reutter, Biggest Challenges Facing Lake Erie and its
Fishery Today

o   3 p.m., Stanford, Lake Erie Water Snakes: Why They are Important to Lake
Erie and the Sport Fishery 

o   4 p.m., Tory Gabriel, Ohio Sea Grant Extension Educator, Lake Erie Sport
Fishery Update:  What's the Walleye Forecast for 2011?

o   5 p.m., Dave Kelch, OSU Extension Agent, Lorain County, Asian Carp: Big
Fish, Big Appetite, Huge Problem--How They can Destroy our Fishery

o   6 p.m., John Hageman, Manager, Ohio State University's Stone Laboratory,
Lake Erie Ice Fishing Basics: Where To Go, How To Stay Safe, How To Catch
Fish!

o   7 p.m., Eugene Braig, Assistant Director, Ohio Sea Grant, Harmful Algae
Blooms: How They can Impact Lake Erie's Fishery and You!!
