St. Louis River Alliance Holds Annual Meeting

The public is invited to attend the St. Louis River Alliance's annual
meeting on Thursday, January 20, from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Superior
Public Library (1530 Tower Ave.) A special volunteer recognition ceremony
and reception will be held during the meeting, along with a report of
highlights from 2010 and plans for the future. The event is free.

The Environmental Stewardship Awards Ceremony usually held in conjunction
with this meeting will take place on April 5.

The St. Louis River Alliance is a local nonprofit organization of citizens
and groups working together to restore, protect and enhance the St. Louis
River. The St. Louis River is the headwaters to Lake Superior and the Great
Lakes, which hold 20 percent of the world's fresh water and form the largest
freshwater ecosystem on Earth.
