Greetings,


This is a reminder about the upcoming Third Annual MIPARC meeting
February 18, 2010 from 9am-4:00pm. The Detroit Zoo has graciously
offered to host this year’s event again.


 This year’s theme is “2011 Year of the Turtle”. We have some great
speakers lined up and a variety of turtle related topics will be
discussed. A copy of the agenda will be available this week and on our
website and our facebook page!


 Registration will begins at 8am and the meeting will start at 9am.
Morning refreshments will be provided as well as lunch and afternoon
snacks.  There is a $10 donation for the meeting payable via paypal (see
link at http://www.miparc.org/)or cash at the door. We will have
information on free parking as the even comes near. Tours will be
provided by zoo staff of the amphibian and reptile facilities after the
meeting so make sure you stick around and register for those when
signing up.


Also, through a gracious donation by Josh’s Frogs and Herpetological
Resource and Management, we will also be having a post-meeting social
for those attending the meeting at the Royal Oak Brewery. Appetizers and
non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Space is limited so if you
would like to attend this please indicate when you register and register
soon!


 Please RSVP ASAP so we can order food and supplies for everyone.  The

Please indicate your dietary restrictions and if you plan on attending
either or both of the tours. For those who attended last year’s meeting
