Introduction to U.S. EPA's Quality Program Wed, May 25, 2011 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM CDT Registration Web Link: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/897005161 Quality Assurance Refresher Wed, May 25, 2011 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM CDT Registration Web Link: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/917562688 The sessions will discuss: Recent changes to U.S. EPA’s quality assurance (QA) policies and guidance; Updated quality requirements pertaining to EPA organizations, programs and projects; Considerations for implementing quality requirements as they pertain to extramural agreements (i.e. acquisitions/ contracts, assistance/grants, interagency agreements and cooperative agreements) Target Audience This session is designed as a refresher training for individuals who plan, generate, assess and/or use environmental data as well as those who manage or implement (i.e. recipients) extramural agreements. This includes U.S. EPA managers and staff, and external organizations such as other federal agencies, states, Indian tribal governments, local agencies, universities and not-for-profit organizations. The session will discuss recent and upcoming changes to U.S. EPA’s quality policies. The session is expected to be beneficial to both technical and non-technical staff and will provide a foundation for future quality training sessions. Prerequisites: It will be assumed that participants have taken introductory training on U.S. EPA quality assurance program and related training on quality assurance project plans (QAPPs).
