IJC Co-Chair Lana Pollack

to Speak at Wayne State

Thursday, November 10th

 

On Thursday, November 10th, at 2:30 pm, IJC Co-Chair Lana Pollack will
be speaking at Wayne State University as part of the Water @Wayne
seminar series.  The title of Chair Pollack's talk is "Restoring the
Great Lakes:  Back to the Future" and she will address the need to
revitalize the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement.  First signed in
1972, the Agreement has not been changed since 1987, and the governments
of the U.S. and Canada are in the final stages of negotiations to update
the agreement.
