On Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 9:15 am EST, the Deputy Secretary of the
United States Department of Commerce will have a press conference
releasing the Economic Impact Study for the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence
Seaway. After his press conference, the economic impact study will be
will be posted on the Marine Delivers website: www.marinedelivers.com as
well as on the Port of Milwaukee web site: www.milwaukee.gov/port



The study is an analysis of the positive benefits of the industry. It is
a bi-national study using 2010 data and has been peer reviewed for
accuracy.
