The use of species distribution models to evaluate potential responses of birds to climate change is important as we consider management options. This webinar will provide information about: space <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-spacer.gif> <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-bullet.jpg> Potential effects of climate change on 147 bird species habitats of the eastern United States <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-bullet.jpg> Why information on potential climate and tree species habitat changes are important to evaluate when considering potential climate change impacts <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-bullet.jpg> The importance of communicating uncertainties when applying results to vulnerability assessments. The webinar is free, but you must pre-register by Wednesday, September 28. His research focuses on understanding the responses of ecological systems in a changing world. In addition to field studies in wildlife ecology, the majority of his research centers on modeling the habitat dynamics of tree and bird species distributions to climate change across the Eastern United States. space <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-spacer.gif> <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-divider.png> <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-header.png> space <http://changingclimate.osu.edu/emails/images/n-spacer.gif> The OSU Climate Change Outreach Team is a partnership among multiple departments within The Ohio State University to help localize the climate change issue by bringing research and resources to Ohioans and Great Lakes residents.
