Please join the Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition and the Canadian
Consulate General of Canada, Detroit for an enjoyable evening at the Detroit
Institute of Art. Reunite with friends as you stroll through the stunning
galleries of the DIA. Sip cocktails in the Rivera Court, home of the Detroit
Industry fresco cycle, conceived by Mexican muralist Diego Rivera
(1886-1957) as a tribute to the city's manufacturing base and labor force of
the 1930s. It is considered the finest example of Mexican mural art in the
United States, and the artist thought it the best work of his career.
