Please join us next Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m. for a public lecture by Dr. Alan Steinman, Director of the Annis Water Resources Institute and Professor of Water Resources at Grand Valley State University -- "Ecosystem Restoration from the Everglades to the Great Lakes: Fact, Fiction, and (occasional) Frustration"

The talk will take place at the Lake Erie Center, 6200 Bayshore Road in Oregon, OH. We hope to see you there!

2013 Lake Erie Center Art Contest Now Open!
Express your creativity in our annual Art Contest! Artists of all ages, and skill levels are invited to submit a piece of 2D or 3D art that fits our contest theme, “The Nature of our Region, from Oak Openings to Maumee Bay.” Prizes will be given in five age categories: adult, special needs adult, teen, youth and junior youth. Art in 2D and 3D formats accepted. Winning entries will be put on exhibit at the LEC for six months. Contest entries due April 19, 2013.
