United Nations World Water Day is on March 22, 2013. Please take a moment to feel glad that we have a source of fresh water next to us and empathize with those who don't have the same good fortune. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chapter of Engineers without Borders (EWB-UWM) builds water distribution systems in Guatemala so that families there may get water in their homes without having to walk and carry water home each day. On Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 9am at Veterans Park, Milwaukee, we will have a 5K Run/Walk and ALL proceeds will go toward further work by the EWB-UWM in Guatemala. The $25 registration fee includes a free t-shirt if you register by March 22, 2013. Please use the link below: https://runsignup.com/Race/?raceId=2677 Last year, we had a good turnout and had fun.
