Thanks and appreciation goes out to our Region 6 P2 representatives/activists (Thomas Vinson-Peng and David "CTF" James to name just a couple!) for helping to make more inroads integrating P2 into our cities' Pretreatment Programs and daily activities. After 6 to 8 years of their participation at our annual Pretreatment Workshops, many, many more of our cities and their industries have "caught on" to win-win-win advantages of Pollution Prevention much to their benefit. Long live the marriage of P2 and Pretreatment! The blueprint of our "Pretreatment House" was drawn up back in '72 with a few minor improvements in the late '80s. Along comes the Pollution Prevention Act of '90 which has helped to improve on the design and efficiency of our "House". Many, many improvements have now been made to screen in the back porch, fix the leaky roof/plumbing, upgrade the old electric wiring, even add an additional room and tool shed thanks to Pollution Prevention innovations! Hand in hand, we're well on the way to achieving the CWA's ultimate objectives. Question: Wasn't there a recent announcement regarding upcoming RFPs for P2 Grants? I have had several requests for such but, cannot find that recent P2 announcement. Would someone please re-send that info back to this office? It would be greatly be appreciated. Thanx in advance for the P2 grants announcement, Allen Gilliam ADEQ State Pretreatment Coordinator 501.682.0625 <http://www2.gotomeeting.com/g2w/emailtracking/invitation/262497290> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
