The GrassRoots Recycling Network (GRRN) has organized a National
Recycling & Zero Waste Conference www.grrn.org/conference2009 in
Devens, MA from October 18-21, 2009. GRRN is offering an Early
Registration rate of $50 off the full conference Registration Fee, by
just filling in "early" when the Registration form requests a
Promotion Code, through September 15, 2009 (cannot be combined with
one-day, half-day or other discount rates).

GRRN will bring you the cutting edge in municipal recycling, reuse,
zero waste, and extended producer responsibility, as well as the
latest on the Recycling/Zero Waste/Climate Change connection. It will
be interesting and inspiring, with useful new tools that you can put
to use in your community.

The Recycling Organizations of North America (RONA), a newly
chartered Colorado corporation intending to be a replacement for the
National Recycling Coalition, will also be holding its first public
meeting at this Conference on Sunday afternoon, October 18 from 1 pm
to 5 pm to discuss The Future of Organizing for Recycling in North
America. Recycling professionals from all over the United States and
Canada will be coming to that meeting. There will also be additional
discussion on Tuesday, October 20th at 4:15 pm in the closing plenary
"Next Steps for Local and National Organizing".

Please join the discussion and share your thoughts about forming one
or more new organizations to promote recycling nationally.

GRRN promises an affordable professional recycling conference with
the best program and sessions, good networking opportunities,
low-cost/high-visibility exhibit space and a great deal on sponsorship.

When? October 18 -21.
Where? Devens Commons is a former military base repurposed into an
eco-industrial park about 1 hour northwest of Boston. How cool is that?
