[p2tech] Cleaning bread trays

I have a client that makes artesian breads and delivers it throughout
the northeast. They use the typical plastic, returnable bread trays for
the delivery process. They are currently cleaning them manually in a
sink, which is very labor intensive. They want to purchase an automatic
washer for the purpose. Question: are there any other cleaning methods
that would be effective but have a minimal impact to the environment.

Thanks,
