Dick Allen Lansing to Mackinaw Bicycle Tour. The Dick Allen Lansing to Mackinaw Bicycle Tour, which is a nationally known bicycle camping tour, was originated in 1971 by former State Representative Dick Allen. The 2002 bike ride will be held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1 with several routes available. DALMAC riders are given special permission to ride bicycles across the Mackinac Bridge at the completion of the ride.
