Great Lakes Boat Building School (3/5) The Great Lakes Boat Building School, located in the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands of the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan, offers a highly rated educational program designed to teach quality wooden boat building skills and preserve craftsmanship. Documentary examines Great Lakes through an icy lens Great Lakes Echo (2/8) The shaping of the Great Lakes’ geographic, economic and cultural history by ice is revealed in a documentary set to be finished in late April. Great Lakes Shoreviewer (12/19) The Superior Watershed Partnership recently announced the Great Lakes Shoreviewer, a free imagery tool that provides over 1,400 miles of beautiful color photography for the entire Upper Peninsula shoreline. The Shoreviewer is available as a free smartphone app for the iPhone, and also can be accessed online.
